HIP HOP BEATS SUMMER CAMP

Move to the groove and feel the beat in this 1/2 day camp that features equal parts drumming and dance! We are thrilled to be joining forces with the artists from dancED Movement Project, and together we will guide students through a musical experience centred around the various elements of hip hop culture. Campers will explore solo and group rhythms in circle drumming, dynamic choreography, body percussion and more as they gear up for an exciting performance for family and friends on the last day!

dancED Movement Project is an Edmonton-based dance education company specializing in school-based Artist In Residence programs. Since 2008, dancED has engaged thousands of kids across the country in discovering their inner artist and unleashing their creative potential. This will be our fourth summer collaborating together and we can’t wait to see what this year’s camp holds!
